This was pitched to a dog lover's magazine back in 2005. I illustrate my ability to tell anecdotal stories, while giving the article professional credibility withing one page. EDITOR NAME, Janet’s been dating a guy from work for over a month and a half. He’s sweet, easy to get a long with, and she feels good when she’s around him. Possible wedding bells in the future? There’s just one problem – he doesn’t like Max…the terrier she’s been raising for the past three years. I’d like to write an 800 word article for you about ‘What to Do When a New Lover Doesn’t Get Along with Your Dog’. The article will cover the communication techniques the reader could use to find out the real reasons behind the incompatibility, and then address the different scenarios with possible solutions. I’ll interview and quote a former relationship coach who worked for COMPANY NAME, and possibly one or two dog trainers to address some of the dog’s behaviors that might be contributing to the problem. I can have an outline for you within two days after getting you approval, or the entire article within two weeks. I look forward to hearing a positive response… Eric Engel Enclosed SASE Bios - bla bla bla |
